In September 2003 the last cd appeared: "Weerter Mannenkoor zingt Russisch Byzantijns" which enjoyed a great reception. A beautifull document with original religious music.

In the scheme of the thirty-year existence, the choir performed a concert with modern musicals and operas. Beside the repertoire included modern choir music such as: "When I am sixty-four" by the Beatles; Rhythm of live" and "When the saints". Of this very successful concert a cd was made which makes the acquaintance of the modern music the Weerter mannenkoor performs.

Since many years the yearly returning Christmas concert has been a musical highlight of the Weerter Mannenkoor. Every year the choir performs new Christmas carols during a well-visited concert. Through the years an imposing Christmas repertoire has been built up with music from several countries. To mention old Dutch Christmas carols such as: :Nu zijt wellekome" and "Hoe leit dit kindeke" but also English songs: "Once in royal David's city". At may requests the Weerter Mannenkoor launched a cd with the most special Christmas carols of the last few years.

This work is a highlight in the oratorio pieces by Max Bruch. It came about in 1967 with text by the poet Esaias Tegnèr. The work consists of six scenes. Until now the Frithjof –Sage has never been performed or taken down. The Limburg Symfonie Orkest co-operated and the well-known soprano Thea van der Putten and the even well known baritone Henk Poort. The latter one created later on furore in the musical “Phantom of the opera”, which led to a breakthrough. On this cd you can also find the nice musical piece “Landerkenning” by Edvard Grieg.
